1.2 Summary of operations
Space heating
Hi-Therma units are factory-supplied ready for space heating operation. Di󰀨erent heating installation congurations can be
selected, providing a comfortable atmosphere all year long, even in the coldest climates: The air to water heat pump is sized
to provide 100% of the heating requirements on the coldest day the year. For installations with an existing heating system by
boiler and when is needed to heat the supplied water temperature to the circuit up to high temperatures (60ºC), the boiler can
be congured to alternate with the air to water heat pump.
By selecting the di󰀨erent conguration types, it is possible to adapt the system to all customer requirements, providing a
wide application range from the simplest conguration to complete conguration: Radiator, heating oor or both (two circuit
temperature area).
Domestic hot water
Hi-Therma units give the option of domestic hot water production, allowing the user to benet from the heat pump’s high
e󰀩ciency and achieve domestic hot water. An electric heater is incorporated inside both remote and integrated tanks in order
to allow an immediate heating of the domestic hot water in accordance with the user’s needs.
Space cooling
Hi-Therma units can also be operated in cooling operation. the reversible models become available. In this case, combination
with fan-coils, refreshing oor or both (two circuit temperature area) can be applied.
Swimming pool water heating operation
For summer session period, Hi-Therma units can be used to heat up the water temperature of swimming pools up to a value
between 24 and 33ºC.
