Troubleshooting the PTX5000 Power Supply Modules
Problem The following alarms, LEDs, and other conditions indicate a problem with the power
supply modules during normal operations:
• The green INPUT OK LED on a power supply module is off when the PSM is not receiving
voltage.
• The green OUTPUT OK LED on a power supply module is off when a PSM output has
failed or is not receiving voltage, or the PSM output enable switch is off/down on the
connected PDU.
• The red FAULT LED on a power supply module lights when a PSM has failed, is not
properly installed, or is not receiving sufficient voltage.
