RF Preselector Section
RF Preselector Section Purpose
— Band 12 - 28 MHz to 32 MHz
— Through Path - 2 MHz to 32 MHz
All of the filter bands in the high band filter section use fixed bandpass
filters.
The through path has no filtering and is only used during the instrument
alignment and calibration.
High Band Amplifier
There is also a limiter and amplifier on the high band filter section output.
The amplifier is used to compensate for the losses contributed by the
switches, the filter insertion loss, and general signal path loss.
A24 Conducted Filter Assembly Connections
The connections to and from the A24 Conducted Filter assembly are as
listed in Table 5-3 and as illustrated in Figure 5-3 below.
