8.2 Selecting the depth sounding range (RANGE)
The depth range you want to view can be setup anywhere between the sea bottom and the sea
surface.
Using the RANGE UP “+” and RANGE DOWN “-“ keys, select the range between the sea bottom and
sea surface you want to view.
The selected depth range is displayed on the screen.
The depth ranges (Range1Range8) are setup by default but other useful ranges can also be
registered.
To register a depth range:
Select SOUNDER MENU→Depth Range Preset → Select a range from Range1Range8.
The selected range is set.
The ranges that can be registered are listed below.
To change the depth units, set the Depth Unit from the System MENU as shown below.
System MENU→Display→Depth Unit.
