10.4.6.3 Adjusting the tuning circuit (Tuning Adjust)
This will adjust the automatic tuning circuit to its best operating point.
(1) Choose several stable video images in the 6nm range or more and select the long pulse setting.
(2) Press the “MENU” key to select Adjust→Tuning Adjust.
(3) “TUNING CALIBRATION” is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press the “AUTO” key.
(4) While watching video images, adjust the rotary control until the maximum amount of echo returns
are displayed.
(5) When the adjustment is finished, press the “ENTER” key to exist from the TUNING CALIBRATION
screen.
(6) Press the “MENU” key to select Adjust→Tuning Adjust.
(7) “TUNING CALIBRATION” is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press the “MANUAL” key.
(8) While watching video images, adjust the rotary control until the maximum amount of echo returns
are displayed.
(9) When the adjustment is finished, press the “ENTER” key to exist from the TUNING CALIBRATION
screen.
