Press the RETURN key to return to the MENU screen.
GPS STATUS : If GPS is functioning, displays [OK]. If not functioning displays [BAD].
DGPS MODE : If in DGPS mode, displays [ON]. If not, displays [OFF].
GPS CLOCK : The GPS clock is displayed. 9hrs behind Japanese time.
PRESENT POSITION : The coordinates (lat/lon) of own ship’s present position is displayed.
SHIP SPEED : Own ship’s present speed is displayed.
COURSE : Own ship’s present course is displayed.
CH1CH4 : Starting from directly above, the number and the receive SN (Signal to
Noise) ratio of the 4 satellites are displayed. Positioning is deemed OK i
f
a stable SN ratio of 5 or over is displayed.
RECEIVED SV : The number of satellites the GPS receiver is receiving from is displayed.
Reception status is deemed OK if constantly receiving from 4 or more
satellites.
BEACON FREQUENCY: The beacon receiver frequency is displayed.
BEACON S/N : The beacon receiver signal to noise ratio is displayed. Deemed OK if the
signal to noise ratio is 10 or over.
