Driving forward:
While driving forward, set the tractor valve for the steering axle to "Lower" so that the wheels
can freely adjust to the trajectory of the curve.
The steering axle must be locked when travelling forward if the lateral guiding of the non-
steered front axle is not sufficient, e.g.:
• on slopes
• on soil that is not solid enough
• for fast travel over an uneven course
To do this, charge the locking cylinder until the steered wheels are in position for driving straight
ahead. During forward travel with the steering axle locked, leave the pressure on the hydraulic
connection.
Reversing:
Before moving backward first move the rear axle wheels to a straight position if they are turned.
Then charge the locking cylinder with air. It may be necessary to drive straight forward a short
distance.
While driving in reverse leave the pressure on the hydraulic connection.

Make certain, that the shut-off valve (1) is in position (I) (opened) during use of machine.

7.2.1 Manoeuvring the machine without hydraulic connection
To be able to manoeuvre the machine without connecting the hydraulic line, it is necessary to
charge the locking cylinders and to close the shut-off valve.
