5.3 Requirements on the tractor
The swather features a locating drawbar for the three-point linkage (Cat. II and Cat. III).
The tractor requires:
• Lower suspension arm Cat.II or Cat.III
• Dual-line compressed air braking system
• Hydraulic brake (optional)
• A single-acting hydraulic connection with free backflow and a double-acting hydraulic
connection or two double-acting hydraulic connections with a pressure-free backflow
connection
• Attach support for the electrical control terminal in the tractor cab (ensure that the control
terminal is in full view).
• Continuous power socket (ISO)

Note
The tractor lower suspension arms must always be installed so that the lifting points of the
lower suspension arms are all at the same distance from the ground. In order to prevent
swivelling of the machine during transport or operation, the lower suspension arms must be
secured by limiting chains or bars.
