8. Replace the two-way valve NX.
9. To reassemble the unit, reverse the removal procedure.
4.10.6 Replacing SMC Two-Way Valve
This section explains replacement procedures of SMC two-way valve.
The SMC two-way valve is used in VJ-1604K2 and some of VJ-1604A/VJ-1604E/VJ-1604J.
1. Remove the cartridge cover (lower).

2. Remove the cartridge cover (upper).
"4.2.9 Removing Cartridge Cover (Upper)" p.4-17
3. Remove the screws (8 pieces) that retain the SMC two-way valve.
4. Detach the ink tube (2 pieces) from the SMC two-way valve.
