Precision Rail Vehicles
Preconfigured vehicles for use with the precision rail system are available from MagneMo-
tion, see Precision Rail on page 126. These vehicles are available in a version with one mag-
net array for payloads up to 2.5 kg [5.5 lb] (see Figure 3-55, Precision Rail Single Array
Vehicle, on page 130 for details). And, in a dual array version for payloads up to 5 kg [11.0 lb]
(see Figure 3-56, Precision Rail Dual Array Vehicle, on page 130 for details).
Single Array Vehicle
Vehicles with one magnet array, as shown in Figure 3-39, are used in precision rail systems
when the material being moved weighs up to 2.5 kg [5.5 lb]. See Figure 4-42, Precision Rail
Single Array Vehicle Mechanical Drawing, on page 191 for details.

For proper operation, the payload on the vehicle and the velocity of the vehicle must fit within
the curve that is shown in Figure 3-40.
