Once these characteristics are known, identify additional requirements:
Accommodations for track length and topology.
See Figure 4-1 on page 148 through Figure 4-24 on page 171 for MagneMover
LITE motor mechanical drawings.
See Figure 4-25 on page 172 through Figure 4-30 on page 177 for MagneMo-
ver LITE switch mechanical drawings (the MM LITE switches are not avail-
able in railless versions).
See Figure 4-31 on page 178 and Figure 4-33 on page 180 for mounting
bracket and stand mechanical drawings.
See Figure 4-34 on page 182 for the glide puck mechanical drawing. See
Figure 4-37 on page 185 for the tandem glide puck mechanical drawing.
See Figure 4-35 on page 183 and Figure 4-36 on page 184 for the wheeled
puck mechanical drawing. See Figure 4-38 on page 186 for the tandem
wheeled puck mechanical drawing.
See Figure 4-39 on page 187 for the magnet array mechanical drawing.
See Figure 4-41 on page 189 through Figure 4-49 on page 197 for precision
rail option mechanical drawings.
See Figure 4-51 on page 199 through Figure 4-54 on page 204 for the preci-
sion locator option mechanical drawings.
The MagneMover LITE transport system allows only one vehicle (puck) at a time on a
motor block (see Table 3-2). Each block is a discrete motor primary section of a coil
within the motor that is energized independently.
The thrust available per magnet array must be accounted for when designing with the
MagneMover LITE motors (see Table 3-3).
Table 3-2: MagneMover LITE Motor Blocks
Motor Type Block Length No. Blocks
1000 mm 16.47 mm 60
250 mm 16.47 mm 15
Table 3-3: MagneMover LITE Thrust Force Guidelines
1.5 mm Magnetic Vehicle Gap (G4 Motor and Magnet Array)
Force
Thrust per magnet array @ 100% duty cycle per motor coil 6 N
*
* Thrust at 100% duty cycle must be limited to help prevent overheating of the motor.
Thrust per magnet array @ 25% duty cycle per motor coil 10 N
