â—† NOTE: This check can be carried out right on the engine, only the
fuel tubes have to be removed.
With this check the float needle seat is checked for tightness. If the depression
is not maintained, pay particular attention during disassembly to the float
needle with Viton tip and the carburetor housing.
Connect vacuum pump Q to the fuel supply line W and generate a depres-
sion of approx. 0,4 bar (5,8 p.s.i.).
The depression must not change within approx. 5 seconds.
Check float needle valve.
â–  ATTENTION: If depression drops, this indicates leakage which may cause
overflowing of fuel and in consequence engine damage due
to hydraulic shock.
Renewal of the float needle seat is not allowed.
