c) Procedure for installation of the communication program on the PC
➪ Make sure of, which TCU and thus which program is the applicable one.
For TCU 966.470 use prog43 and for TCU 966.741 use prog46.
➪ Switch on the PC and wait for message C:\>.
◆ NOTE: If this message should not appear (e.g. immediate start of a
Windows-version) change over to MS-DOS level.
➪ To establish the directory designated as 914/progxx enter the command
MD 914\progxx [Enter]
➪ Insert program diskette into the drive "A" and enter the command
C:\>XCOPY A:*.* C:\ 914\progxx\ /s [Enter]
(enter only bold face printed command).
◆ NOTE: With this command the directory "914" with all its sub
directories will be established.
➪ Remove diskette from drive and store safety.
■ ATTENTION: Perform installation of the program every time with the
original diskette.

a) Start of the program:
➪ establish connections PC

➪ switch on TCU
▲ WARNING: Ensure engine ignition "OFF" and secured against uninten-
tional "ON".
➪ switch on PC (if not active already)
➪ start of the program direct from MS-DOS by call.
To start the program enter with command line
C:\914\prog43\>tlr43a [Enter]
or C:\914\prog46\>tlr46a [Enter]
◆ NOTE: If only the message C:\> appears start the program with the
same command line but in bold face print
C:\>914\prog43\tlr43a [Enter]
C:\>914\prog46\tlr46a [Enter]
