13.1.9) Fuel pressure regulator
See Pic. 81 and 82.
Visually check fuel pressure regulator W.
All fuel pressure regulators are calibrated by the engine manufacturer and
need no further adjustment or maintenance.
If this nevertheless should be necessary, there is an adjustment screw R at
the bottom of the regulator.
Set ignition switch for both ignition circuits to "OFF" position. Switch ON
electric fuel pump, and with the adjustment screw R adjust to the correct fuel
pressure (approx. 250 hPa above airbox pressure).
ATTENTION: The fuel pressure regulator must not be disassembled as
there are no spare parts available. If necessary, renew the
complete regulator.
Fitting of fuel pressure regulator by hex. screws M6x16 and lock washers on
the airbox. Tightening torque 8 Nm (70 in.lb).
Drip tray: See Pic. 80.
Visually check drip tray Q. Especially in the area of the fixation bores check
for cracks.
WARNING: If cracks are suspected or evident, renew the drip tray.

Check the 2 fuel tubes Q between fuel pressure regulator W and carburetor
E for leaks. Check connections on the carburetors.
WARNING:
Renew damaged fuel tubes!
