12.3.11)Inspection of the magnetic plug
Remove magnetic plug and inspect for chips possibly collected.
â–² NOTE: The magnetic plug (torx screw) is located on crankcase
between cylinder 2 and gearbox.
This inspection is important as it reveals about condition of gearbox and
engine and conveys information on causes of possible damages.
â–  ATTENTION: If a larger amount of chips (bigger than 0.2 mm) has accu-
mulated an inspection as per chapter 12.3.12 will be neces-
sary.
Trace the cause and remedy.
Proper judgement needs a man with years of experience in repair of internal
combustion engines.
Clean magnetic plug and refit. Tightening torque 25 Nm (220 in.lb). Wire
secure plug.
