Measure resistance between terminals T and U.
Nominal resistance: 3,2 ÷ 4,8 kΩ
➪ Measuring of resistance across turning range of fitted throttle.
To check the function of the throttle position potentiometer over operating
range take the following readings:
Resistance between the terminals Y and U:
Throttle closed (throttle lever pos. 0%): 3,4 ÷ 4,6 kΩ
Throttle open (throttle lever pos. 115%): 0,8 ÷ 2,0 kΩ
◆ NOTE:
Check complete operating range
as per diagram (Pic. 179) for lin-
ear resistance progress.

Resistance between the terminals T and Y:
Throttle open (throttle lever pos. 115%): 2,4 ÷ 3,2 kΩ
Throttle closed (throttle lever pos. 0%): 100 ÷ 300 Ω

ear resistance progress.
