15.1.6 Unpacking Instructions and
Typical Package Contents
Carefully remove the RTC
®
5 PC/104-Plus board
from the package.
Keep the packaging, including the antistatic bag
the RTC
®
5 PC/104-Plus board is delivered in, so
that in case of repair the board can be properly
repackaged and returned to SCANLAB.
Also remove all other articles from the package.
Check that all parts have been delivered. Refer to
the corresponding packaging list.
The package typically includes an RTC
®
5 PC/104-
Plus board and a data CD (containing the corre-
sponding software (see below) and this manual).
Some product versions may also supply
additional components such as data cables or
converters (see "Optional Accessories", page 576).
Delivered Software
The delivered software package is identical to the
RTC
®
5 software package (see page 23). It contains
software drivers for Microsoft’s WINDOWS 8,
WINDOWS 7, WINDOWS Vista and WINDOWS XP
(SP2 or higher) and WINDOWS XP Embedded (SP2 or
higher) (32-bit or 64-bit) operating systems,
correction, DLL and program files, as well as utility
files for C, C++ and C#.

In addition to the RTC

5 PC/104-Plus board and its
software package, the following accessories – as with
the RTC
®
5 PC interface board – can be obtained from
SCANLAB (only hardware extensions from SCANLAB
should be used in combination with the
RTC
®
5 PC/104-Plus board):
• XY2-100 converter (see page 29).
• Data cables (see page 29).
• Laser adapter (see page 29).
• Slot cover with a 15-pin D-SUB connector for
using the inputs and signals of the LASER
connector (see page 580)
15.1.8 Supplementary Software
For customizing RTC
®
correction files on the basis of
test measurements, SCANLAB offers the correXion5
program and its associated manual (also see
page 121).
