Whenthesteeringcylindersreachtheendoftheirstrokeorifarearwheelshould
encounteranobstruction(e.g.acurb)whilesteering,thepressureinthesteering
circuitwillrise.Reliefvalve(RV1)inthesteering/deckliftmanifoldsensesthis
pressureincrease.Whensteeringcircuitpressurebuildstoapproximately145
bar(2100PSI),reliefvalve(RV1)opensandallowshydraulicowtoreturnto
thehydraulicreservoir.Thisactioncausesthespoolofpressurecompensator
valve(LC)toshiftandsendoilawayfromthesteeringcircuitandtothedecklift
andtractionchargecircuits.Reliefvalve(RV1)controlstheactionofpressure
compensatorvalve(LC)andallowsthevalvetodivertonlyenoughoilowtothe
steeringcircuittomaintainreliefpressure.
