pumparefullyseated.Then,inspecttractionpumpreliefvalves(Figure
52).Cleanorreplacevalvesasnecessary.Thesecartridgetypevalvesare
factorysetandarenotadjustable.Ifreliefvalvesareingoodcondition,piston
(traction)pumporwheelmotorsshouldbesuspectedofwearandinefciency.
Note:Forwardandreversereliefvalvesareidentical.Reliefvalvescanbe
switchedinpiston(traction)pumptohelpinidentifyingafaultyreliefvalve.
10.Whenreliefpressuretestingiscomplete,disconnectpressuregaugefrom
testport.
