6.Afterinstallingpressuregauge,startengineandrunatidlespeed.Checkfor
hydraulicleakageandcorrectbeforeproceedingwithtest.
7.Sitontheseatandoperatetheengineatfullspeed(2530RPM).
8.Whilesittingontheseat,pressandholdoneofthedeckliftswitchestofully
raiseacuttingdeck.Momentarilyholdtheswitchwiththedeckfullyraised
whilewatchingthepressuregauge.
9.Asthelift/lowerreliefvalve(RV2)lifts,systempressureshouldbe
approximately:
GAUGEREADINGTOBE:114to145bar(1650to2100PSI)
10.Afterreliefpressureisidentied,releaseliftswitch,stopengineandrecord
testresults.
IMPORTANT
Lift/Lowercircuitreliefpressureisaffectedbybothcounterbalance
pressureadjustmentandspringpressureoftheLCvalveinthe
steering/deckliftmanifold.Iflift/lowercircuitreliefpressureis
incorrect,considerthatcounterbalancepressureoranissuewith
theLCvalveisaffectinglift/lowercircuitreliefpressure.
Note:Donotremovereliefvalve(RV2)fromthehydraulicmanifoldfor
adjustment.
11.Iflift/lowerreliefpressureistoohigh,adjustthereliefvalve(RV2)inthe
steering/deckliftmanifoldsothatreliefpressureiscorrect(seeAdjust
ManifoldReliefValves(page5–72)).Thereliefvalve(RV2)islocatedonthe
topofthesteering/deckliftmanifold(Figure67).
