1.Ifcondenserassemblywasdisassembled:
A.Toproperlysealcondensercore,applyRTVsealanttoallmatingsurfaces
ofwalls,lowerlegsandcondensercorebeforeassembly.
B.AssembleallcondenserassemblycomponentsusingFigure349asa
guide.Makesurethatstripandedgesealsareingoodconditionafter
assembly.
2.CarefullylowertheA/Ccondenserassemblythroughheadlinerandonto
cabframe.
3.SecureA/Ccondenserassemblytocabframewithfour(4)angenuts.
4.Removecapsthatwereplacedonhosesandttingsduringtheremoval
process.Usinglabelsplacedduringremoval,properlysecurehosesto
condensercore.Whileholdingcondenserttingswithasecondwrench,
torquehoseswivelsfrom14to20N·m(10to15ft−lb).
5.Securecondenserfanassemblytomachine(seeA/CCondenserFan
Assembly(page9–13)).
6.Makesurethatallmachineairconditioningcomponentsareinstalledand
secure.
7.Haveacertiedairconditioningservicetechnicianevacuatetheair
conditioningsystemcompletely,properlyrechargethesystemwithR134a
refrigerantandthenleaktestthesystem.A/Csystemcapacityis3.43lb
ofR134arefrigerant.
8.Whenallserviceincabheadlineriscompleted,secureroofpaneltotopof
cab(seeRoofAssembly(page9–9)).
