4.3 Washing and Cleaning

2 Remove the dilution container cover.
a Open the front cover.
• The mechanical sections will power off.
b Open the maintenance cover.
c Remove the dilution container cover.
• Loosen the knurled screw by hand and remove the black dilution
container cover.
3 Clean the dilution container cover.
a Wipe off dirt from the back of the dilution container cover.
• Use cotton swabs or gauze moistened with purified water.
• Be careful in particular not to leave dirt on the sensors.
REFERENCE:
The message “W-062 The front or maintenance cover is open.”
appears if the front cover is opened before performing steps
1-a to 1-c. Be sure to perform steps 1-a to 1-c first.
The sensor tips are sharp. Be careful not to injure
yourself.
NOTE:
The sensors are fragile. Therefore, wipe the sensors with
gauze from the base toward the tip. Do not apply excessive
force to the sensors. If the sensors are bent or broken, the
instrument may not work properly and trouble may occur.
