4.3 Washing and Cleaning

c Attach the tube set to the arrow marked side of the cell washing
set.
d Attach the syringe set to the other side of the cell washing set.
e Place the tip of the tube set in the solution in the beaker, and pull
the syringe’s plunger outward.
• Fill the cell washing set with washing solution (approximately 2
mL) so as not to leave any air inside.
f Remove the tube set from the cell washing set and attach the
sealing screw.
g Remove the syringe set from the cell washing set, and attach the
sealing screw.
2 Prepare for optical unit cell washing.
a On the standby screen, touch , <2. Reagent replace
menu> and <5. Column replacement> in that order.
b In the <Column code> box, enter the reagent information code of
the column that is currently being used.
• The reagent information code is a 10-digit number written on the
“CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY”.
c Touch .
d Open the front cover.
• The mechanical sections will power off.
e Open the temperature control box cover.
