Washing the cell washing set
1 Wash the cell washing set.
a Add more than 10 mL of distilled water to another beaker.
b Attach the tube set to the arrow marked side of the cell washing
set.
c Attach the syringe set to the other side of the cell washing set.
d Pull the syringe’s plunger outward to remove the eluent
remaining in the cell washing set.
e Remove the syringe from the cell washing set, dispose of the
removed eluent, and attach the syringe again.
The syringe may be pulled out of the barrel.
f Place the tip of the tube set in the distilled water in the beaker.
Pull the syringe’s plunger outward to aspirate approximately 4
mL of distilled water.
Aspirate air to remove the water from the cell washing kit.
Remove the syringe and dispose of the water. Attach the syringe
again.
g Repeat step f once.
h Remove the tube set and syringe set from the cell washing set.
2 Store the cell washing set.
a Disassemble the cell washing set by removing the cap.
Wipe off moisture on each part with dry gauze.
b Wipe off moisture on the tube set, syringe set and sealing screws
with dry gauze.
c Reassemble the cell washing set.
Tighten the cap securely with a wrench. Then, attach the sealing
screws on both ends.
d Put the cell washing set, syringe set, and tube set into the original
plastic bag, and store in the accessory case.
