5.1 If a Warning Occurs

W-095 Optical unit is leaking.
Cause Fluid is leaking from the optical unit.
Remedy a Touch to clear the warning.
b If the warning persists, turn off the power and contact your distributor.
W-096 Eluent chamber is leaking.
Cause Fluid is leaking from the chamber.
The chamber cap is not securely tightened.
The tube is disconnected from the chamber or improperly connected.
Remedy a Touch to clear the warning.
b Tighten the cap of the chamber securely (see page 4-55).
c Properly connect the tube to the chamber. Wipe up spilled liquid and blot up pooled liquid in the leak
tray below the chamber (see page 1-14).
d Turn off the power and contact your distributor.
W-097 Dil. container is overflowing.
Cause Fluid is leaking from the piercing nozzle or the washing block of the piercing nozzle.
Fluid is overflowing from the dilution container.
Remedy a Touch to clear the warning.
b Replace the O-ring of the piercing nozzle (see page 4-17).
Wipe up spilled liquid and blot up pooled liquid on the lid of the dilution container and in the leak
container in front of the dilution container.
c Wash the dilution container (see page 4-36).
d Bubbles may overflow from the dilution container. Check if the washing solution is running out, the
mesh filter is clogged, or the tube to the bottle cap with nozzle is loose (see page 4-23).
e Turn off the power and contact your distributor.
