The GLD alignment can be used to optimize the black to white tracking. If there are no issues with the color
setup of a multi channel display system, it is not necessary to perform this procedure.

7.8.11.1 Description
What is Gray Level Denition?
When matching multi channel systems, the white level can be matched using Dynacolor and the black levels can be tweaked
using Black Color Matching. When comparing the gray levels of certain projector platforms there can be a signicant difference in
the primary color distribution on differe
nt gray levels. This is typically the case for LCD and LCoS projectors; especially when they
reach a certain age they are more sensitive to this artifact.
GLD adjustment allows correcting the gray levels by tweaking the contribution of the primary colors to each gray level (i.e. color
balancing).
HowdoesGrayLevelDenition work?
GLD allows you to adjust the contribution of the primary colors to different gray levels or zones to match different display
channels to a reference channel.
