7.6.5 Lamp power mode
What can be done?
The lamp can be set to normal or econom ic mode:
• Normal: full lamp power of 280W is set (generation 2 lamp)
• Economic: the lamp power is reduced to 250W (generation 2 lamp) and the light output is decreasing accordingly.
CAUTION: Switching between Normal lamp mode and Economic lamp mode can only be done 6 times and
only within the first 100 hours of the lamp life! On each switch a dialog box indicates the actual amount of
performed lamp power mode switches and asks for confirmation.
Once the lamp life time has exceeded 100 hours, the menu will be disabled.
How to set the lamp power mode ?
1. In the OSD, browse to Lamps > Lamp pow er mode > Norm al or Econ omic.
