5.7.4 Adjusting the lens
Description
The shift adjustment is done during the Installation phase.
The other adjustments possible on the lenses are:
• Motorized zoom
• Motorized focus : should be done during the installation phase
• ECR (Extended Contrast Ratio) : ECR is done through automatic adjustment of the lens opening (aperture). This is done during
for example Time of Day adjustment

CAUTION: Make sure to unlock the focus ring and the zoom ring before adjusting the zoom or focus of the
lens!
CAUTION: In case of a projector with rugged option, make sure to unlock the lens holder before shifting it up
/ down or left / right.
How to adjust the lens using the direct keys on the RCU?
1. Use one of the following keys on the RCU:
- Lens shift (↑ or ↓): to shift down or up
- Lens zoom (- or +): to zoom out or in
- Lens focus (- or +): to adjust the focus

How to shift using the OSD in combination with the RCU (or local keypad)?
1. Press MENU to activate the Tool bar
2. Press → to select the Installation
3. Press ↓ to Pull down the Installatio n menu
4. Use ↑ or ↓ to select Lens adjustments...
