Control cabinets from Rexroth’s delivery program
The control cabinets allow the Tightening System 350 to be easily integrated into tightening installations.
These control cabinets are optimized for the needs of the tightening system. All control cabinets are
available in two standard dimensions:
• 1800 600 500 mm

for up to
– 18 tightening channel or
– 17 tightening channels + KE350/350G IL for size 2, 3 and 4 tightening spindles
Size 5 and combinations on request.
• 2000 600 500 mm

for up to
– 24 tightening channel or
– 23 tightening channels + KE350/350G IL for size 2 and 3 tightening spindles
Sizes 4, 5 and combinations on request.
Control cabinets from other manufacturers (e.g. Rittal)
To facilitate installation of card rack fields in Rittal control cabinets, special brackets for 1, 2, 3, or 4 card
rack fields, type PS and TS, with 500 or 600 mm depth are available.
The following spoilers are available for optimum air convection in roof climate control units from Rittal:
• SK 3296 (800W)
• SK 3290 (1400W)
Climate control
In general, please take the air convection into account when using climate control units. The inlet and
outlet air can be separated by installing spoilers. Avoid thermal short circuits.
The card rack fields are installed starting at the bottom. The bottom card rack field has the lowest unit
address, e. g. A0 and A1 for the one above.
The KE should be installed in the bottom card rack field: slot 0.6. This section also has the lowest
temperature.
Cable ducts
The control cabinets from Rexroth are equipped with separable cable ducts at the bottom. These can be
used to lead through nutrunner cables with plug-in connectors during assembly (Fig. 4–32).
