6.10.2.3 Activation of Rexroth IPM Protocol
The Rexroth IPM Protocol is activated in the BS350 via System Tightening cell data IPM
Protocol with the following options:
6.10.3 Storing the configuration for Rexroth IPM Protocol
By using the File Save tightening cell menu item and activating the Rexroth IPM option, the files with
the configuration settings for Rexroth IPM Protocol (activation, XML, INI, FTP), protocol files as well as
status files can be saved. FTP settings are also saved if this is not explicitly selected in the window of the
BS350 operating system (see figure 6–9 on page 220). If an error with regard to Rexroth IPM Protocol
occurs while saving the tightening cell data, it is dealt with as follows:
Unable to save files for Rexroth IPM Protocol
At the end of the saving process, the following entry is shown in the dialog window with the error
messages: Unable to save IPM configuration file: <File name>
In this connection, <File name> is replaced by the name of the file that could not be saved.
Rexroth IPM Protocol is not supported on the tightening system, the corresponding files are,
however, to be saved (activation box checked)
The files are not saved. Moreover, the following entry is shown in the dialog box with the error messages
at the end of the saving process: Unable to save IPM configuration.
