6.13.4 Diagnosis and troubleshooting
For diagnosis, the following two options are available:
• Detailed text protocol
This protocol can be accessed via BS350 under System test Diagnosis QDA.
• Sequence trace
The sequence trace can be accessed via BS350 under System test ... FF3 or FF4.
• BS350 error list for system errors
6.13.4.1 Free memory
Intermediate storage of data is realized on the inserted CF350 (memory card). The data is created in
directory /ata1a/qda. There, different sub-directories with files are created and deleted after successful
transmission to the target server.
The intermediate memory is checked as follows:
• On start of the QDA protocol:
If no CF350 (memory card) is inserted or if it cannot be read, the data service is not started and a
class 3 system error (2028: "Results output: CF card access error") is logged.
If more than 98% of the capacity on the memory card is occupied, the data service is not started and
a class 3 system error (2028: "Results output: CF card access error") is logged.
• After each tightening process, prior to saving of a new data set in the intermediate memory:
If no CF350 (memory card) is inserted or if it cannot be read, the data service is not started and a
class 3 system error (2028: "Results output: CF card access error") is logged.
If a CF350 (memory card) is inserted, the occupied capacity is checked:
–> 80%
An acknowledgeable system error (2023: "Results output: CF card warning level") class 3 is
triggered.
–< 90%
Ok, a potentially active system error (2024: "Results output: CF card full") reset.
–> 90%
A non-acknowledgeable system error (2024: "Results output: CF card full") class 4 is triggered.
The error is not reset (acknowledged) before the remaining capacity is < 90%.
6.13.4.2 Error during transmission
Errors during transmission to the QDA server are logged in the sequence protocol. No I/O signal is set.
