6.10.2 Settings in the BS350 operating system
The Rexroth IPM Protocol is configured on the compact system and the KE in an identical way. The
following settings have to be made in the BS350 operating system in the specified order:

2. "Select ID-code filter" dialog
6.10.2.1 Configuration of Rexroth IPM Protocol
The configuration window for Rexroth IPM Protocol in the BS350 operating system can be opened in two
different ways. This depends on the question whether the BS350 is connected to a tightening system
("online") or not ("offline"):
Online: As of version V2.500 of the Rexroth Tightening System 350: System IPM configuration
If no configuration file is stored on the tightening controller, the following message is output and the
configuration window is not opened:
There is no IPM configuration file available on the controller. The configuration view cannot be
opened.
Offline: As of version V2.500 of the Rexroth Tightening System 350: File New IPM
configuration
Configuration files for Rexroth IPM Protocol with ipm filename extension can be opened
(File Open…), saved (File Save… or File Save As…) and printed in the BS350-specific report
format (File Print).
The title bar of the configuration window for Rexroth IPM Protocol in the BS350 operating system differs
according to the operating mode:
In the online mode, the name of the title bar is IPM configuration: CS for compact systems or IPM
configuration: KE for modular systems.
In the offline mode, the name of the title bar is IPM configuration: New1, New2, …
The fields in the entry window have the following meanings:
