This section shows how the data, e.g. safety instructions, and symbols are represented in the present
documentation.
1.4.1 Safety instructions
In this documentation, safety instructions precede an instruction when there is the danger of personal
injury or damage to equipment. The hazard avoidance measures described must be observed.
Safety instructions are structured as follows:
• Safety sign (warning triangle): draws attention to the danger
• Signal word: identifies the degree of the risk (hazard class)
• Type of danger: identifies the type or source of the danger
• Consequences: describes what occurs when the safety instructions are not complied with
• Precautions: states how the risk can be avoided
