6.1.2 Protocols for results output
In the Tightening System 350, the tightening results can be transferred to output devices or devices for
further processing or storage with the following protocols:
Printer (serial interface X3C1)
3964R communication (serial interface X3C1)
FTP, Rexroth Open Protocol (Rexroth OP, Rexroth OP-Ford, Rexroth OP-BMW), VW-XML Protocol,
Rexroth IPM Protocol, HTTP Protocol, PFCS Protocol, PFCS 2-Port Protocol, QDA Protocol, PLUS
Protocol, RPA Protocol (Ethernet interface X7E1)
Data field bus (IMpdp, IMdev, IMpnio/IMpnio2, IMenip/IMenip2, IMmtcp, IMecat) (A slot interface)
You can also use the protocols in parallel, e.g. for simultaneous output via FTP and data field bus. The
protocols "Printer" and "3964R communication" can also be used double.
Via data services, the following parameters can also be output:
Program names
•Step names
Application names
Tightening position names
Further information can be found in the descriptions on the respective data service.
The texts are entered via the BS350. As the ASCII character set is only used uniformly in the lower range,
Rexroth recommends entering ASCII standard characters 0-127 only and refraining from using umlauts
or special characters (country-specific ASCII 128-255). The latter characters and their display depend
on the code page set in the input and output devices.
Each data service requires time to calculate and thus lengthens the duration of the tightening cycle. This
is why it makes sense to only activate the necessary data services to avoid delays.
In order to ensure that the cycle time requirements can be met, the number of tightening channels per KE
must be limited if necessary.
