4.2.2 ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner
The ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunners are available in four different versions: SlimLine, GripLine, VarioLine,
and pistol grip nutrunner.
4.2.2.1 SlimLine
The SlimLine hand-held nutrunner is the model for standard applications. This model consists of a
standard machine and an angle head. The angle head is mechanically coded and can only be operated
on the appropriate standard machine. This results in a high level of process reliability. The efficiency of
the angle head is stored in the nutrunner at the factory before delivery.
Special angle heads cannot be mounted.
The parameters of the output drive (efficiency, transmission ratio) are stored in the ErgoSpin and
automatically recognized by the tightening system ("plug and run").
CAUTION
Risk of injury
If tightening processes with higher torques are implemented with a hand-held nutrunner, the forces
may result in injuries, particularly at the joints. With the pistol grip nutrunner ESM, "higher torques"
are torques > 10 Nm, with angle nutrunners torques > 40 Nm.
 Please use a torque support.
CAUTION
Risk of injury
Skin, hair, or clothing may be caught in the rotating angle head and you may be injured.
 Do not use the ErgoSpin SlimLine angle head as a handle.
