6.13.1 Detail information
Tightening position
A tightening position is an entry in the configuration able. The tightening position is defined by three
parameters: Channel number, program number and position (optional).
If a tightening tool (identical channel number - Channel) is realized and different tightening positions are
processed with the same set of parameters (identical program number - Prg), the position parameter
(Pos) can be used to generate different QDA data sets per tightening position. However, the position
information has to be provided by an external system (e.g. PLC). The position information is transmitted
via the ID code of the tightening system and retrieved from the character positions defined in the QDA
configuration (see ID code data).
If positioning is not used, the position parameter (Pos) in the configuration table should remain empty and
no position mask should be defined in the ID code data configuration.
ID code mask
ID code masking. The parts of the ID code masked with "I" are applied into the QDA-ID code. If an asterisk
(*) is entered, the character is ignored.
The configuration for the ID code mask is realized in the Select ID-code filter ... (see page 505) dialog.
ID code data
The QDA data set has different (text) data fields to which flexible parts of the ID code can be mapped.
This element can be used for this purpose, with the following characters being allowed for ID code data.
•P
Transmission of the position code. The position code serves as additional information (besides
channel number and tightening program) for assignment of a tightening position name.
•S
Transmission of the unique part number <K1001>. Here, the part number can be dynamically defined
by the superordinate system (PLC). Alternatively, the part number can be permanently defined in the
configuration. Important: If the part number is defined via the configuration, it has priority over the part
number taken over from the ID code. Each active position in the ID code mask transfers the character
in ID code into the serial number field (K0014).
•*
New placeholder character to provide a clearer overview.
The configuration for the ID code data is realized in the Select ID-code filter ... (see page 505) dialog.
