3. Double click the line X3C1 to open the associated parameters dialog.
Baud rate: Data rate in baud. Data transfer rates of 300 to 115200 baud are available.
If permitted by the partner controller, you should select 115200 baud under normal conditions. This
is also the delivered default value for the communication unit interface.
Data bits: Word length.
If permitted by the partner controller, select 8 bit. This is also the delivered default value for the
communication unit interface.
Parity: Parity of the data packages.
If permitted by the partner controller, select "no" parity.
Protocol: This is also the delivered default value for the communication unit interface. Handshake
procedure for communication.
If permitted by the partner controller, select "none". This is also the delivered default value for the
communication unit interface.
Stop bits: Number of stop bits.
If permitted by the partner controller, select 1. This is also the delivered default value for the
communication unit interface.
After all parameters have been set, click Accept to assign the values.
6.3.3.2 Sending the configuration to the tightening system
The interface configuration is only valid after the settings have been sent to the tightening system.
6.3.4 Setting results output parameters
To set the results output:
1. In the BS350 operating system, click System Tightening cell data
2. Click PLC1 (3964R) or PLC2 (3964R) to set the results output via the X3C1 interface.
The Tightening cell data/PLC 3964R - PLC dialog will open.
The data necessary for configuration are determined via the partner controller interface. Both interfaces
must have the same settings.
Communication between the Tightening System 350 and partner controller will only function correctly if
both interfaces have the same configuration.
You may configure up to two results outputs via the X3C1 interfaces using 3964R/RK512. However, only
one partner controller can transfer ID codes to the tightening system (see page 220).
Both interfaces can be used at the same time and independent from each other to output the tightening
results. Settings for one interface do not influence the settings for the other interface.
