6.2.1.5 Transferring the ID codes to the tightening system via FTP
An FTP client writes the ID code to the mass storage (CF350 memory module) of the tightening system
in the form of an ID code file. A maximum of two connections (sessions) to the FTP server may exist at
the same time.
The ID code is transferred into the tightening process once the tightening cycle has started (Ch x.y Cw,
Ch x.y Ccw, FO x Cw). The tightening system only evaluates the first 64 bytes in the ID code file. If there
are more than 64 bytes in the file, they will be ignored. They are stored in the IDCode directory on the
CF350 memory module. The name for the ID code file is ID_CH_00_1.dat (permanent for CS351). The
name of the ID code file determines how the respective file contents are assigned to the tightening
processes.
