Directory for the tightening results: Beginning with the root directory

name configured below) enter the target directory for the results files.
User name: The user name has to be valid on the FTP server and has to have write access to the
target directory and authorization to create directories. If necessary, ask your system administrator if
the user has write access.
Password: The password is not entered in code. The FTP convention applies here.
6.2.2.2 Storing the results files on the FTP server
In order that the results data can be stored to the FTP server, the client, i.e. the tightening system, has to
have write access to a specified directory (in Figure 6–11 TestSystem1). The compact system creates
a sub-folder CH_00_1 (one tightening channel); the modular system creates the sub-folders CH_00_1 to
CH_15_6 (several tightening channels). In turn, the directory for the tightening channel contains a
separate sub-directory for each tightening program. A directory is created only if results data for this
directory are available

1) This refers to the root directory for the registered user. This directory can be located several levels
below the actual root directory of the drive.
If no directory has been entered, the root directory for the indicated user will automatically be used as the
storage location.
2) A directory is created only if results data for this directory are available. KE350 example: Directory
Ch_02_4 is created only if a tightening result of a single-channel tightening from channel 02_4 (rack
2, channel 4) is to be transferred.
