Emergency backup of results files
The following options are available to perform an emergency backup of results files that have not yet been
saved to the memory module:
• Remove the CF350 memory module and read the results files using a CF-card-reader, e.g. on a
laptop. This backup is always possible, but requires a temporary shutdown of the tightening system.
You can also delete all data from the memory module using a laptop.
• Pick up the files via FTP: The results files can be read using the FTP server service, which is actually
responsible for transferring ID-codes. The same user account is used to do this, that also transfers
the ID code files to the tightening system

. The data are accessed with an FTP client or Internet
Explorer, Netscape, etc. A prerequisite for using this option is, however, functioning access to the
tightening system via Ethernet.
• Backup via the BS350: This type of backup can only display a file on a computer screen. It is possible
to save the file on the operating computer's hard drive in the screen display program.
• Backup via the Maintenance tab (see page 254). It is possible to transfer all data to the computer the
BS350 operating system is running on.
Attention: Transferring large amounts of data requires a lot of time (possibly several hours).
Statistics tab
Results that have not yet been transferred are shown in the Statistics index card:
Fig. 6–26: Prepared results files awaiting transfer via FTP
The overview has the same structure as the directory in the memory module:
• Column 1 shows whether the result is for a tightening application (FO) or a specified tightening
channel (CH_xx_x)
• Column 2 shows with which application or with which tightening program the result was achieved.
• Column 3 shows the number of results files not yet transferred for the application/the tightening
program from columns 1 and 2.
1) The person with client access on the FTP server is the authorized user in this case.
