17 Toothed belt
17.1 Changing the upper toothed belt
To change the upper toothed belt:
1. Switch off the machine.
2. Disassemble the front cover ( p. 20).
3. Disassemble the arm cover ( p. 19).
4. Disassemble the handwheel and toothed belt cover ( p. 23).
5. Disassemble the motor cover ( p. 22).

6. Loosen the screw (2) on the tensioning roller (1).
 The toothed belt tension is slack.
7. Remove the tensioning roller (1).
Make sure not to lose the washer.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before changing the toothed
belt.
