10 Sewing feet
10.1 Adjusting the sewing foot lifting gear
Proper setting
All shafts of the gear are seated on the flat.
The gear has no lateral play.
Spring pressure always keeps the gear securely in the zero position on
the control cam.
Order
First, check the following setting:
• Basic setting of the eccentrics for sewing foot stroke, feed dog lift,
and feed dog movement ( p. 36)
WARNING
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Puncture or crushing possible.
Move the machine into the service routine before
setting the sewing feet.
NOTICE
Property damage may occur!
Possible damage to the PCB, impairing the full operational
readiness of the machine.
Always wear an antistatic armband whenever you work on the PCB!
