7.1 Adjusting the lateral feed dog position

To adjust the lateral feed dog position:
1. Execute the service routine Feed dog > Position to
needle ( p. 14).
The software is used to define the necessary presettings on
the machine.
2. Disassemble the throat plate ( p. 29).
3. Loosen the screws (3).
4. Move the feed dog (1) on the feed dog carrier (2).
Place the removed throat plate next to it as an aid for orientation so
that the feed dog (1) can be screwed on straight.
5. Tighten the screws (3).
6. Assemble the throat plate.
7. Check the feed dog position and readjust it if necessary.
If this is not sufficient, move the entire feed dog carrier on the pusher
shaft ( p. 46).
8. Finish the service routine.
