To adjust the height of the thread-pulling knife:
1. Open the throat plate slides ( p. 28).
2. Loosen the screw on the set collar (5).
3. Loosen the screw (6).
4. Adjust the height of the knife carrier (4).
The thread-pulling knife (2) is the same height as the counter blade.
The thread-pulling knife (2) does not collide with the bobbin or middle
section of the hook.
5. Tighten the screw on the set collar (5).
6. Tighten the screw (6).
Make sure the knife carrier has no axial play.
15.2 Adjusting the cutoff curve

Proper setting
The control cam (4) makes direct contact with the set collar (2).
The distance between the widest extent (6) of the control cam (4) and
the roller (1) is no greater than 0.1 mm.
In rest position, the tip of the thread-pulling knife is right next to the tip of
the counter blade.
To adjust the cutoff curve:
1. Tilt the machine head ( p. 18).
2. Open the throat plate slides ( p. 28).
3. Loosen the threaded pins (3).
4. Push the set collar (2) as far as it will go to the left.
5. Tighten the threaded pins (3).
(1) - Roller
(2) - Set collar
(3) - Threaded pins
(4) - Control cam
(5) - Threaded pins
(6) - widest extent
(7) - Lever
(8) - Clamping screw
(9) - Solenoid
