3.7 Flats on shafts

Some shafts have flat surfaces at the points where the components are
screwed on. This stabilizes the connection and makes adjusting easier.
Important
Always ensure that the screws are completely flush with the surface.
The rule is to always place the 1
st
screw in rotational direction onto
the flat.

An incorrect setting can result in material damage at the machine.
Always place the first screw in rotational direction onto the flat.
