Detailed Description of I/O Modules 370
The measurement range of the module (1 A / 5 A) can be extended by using a current
transformer. The transformer must deliver a current of 1 A / 5 A including internal resistance
and conductor loop. This current must be reflected into the internal measuring resistance.
This is only possible by connecting one end of the secondary winding with the respective
phase and the other end with the respective current output 1 A / 5 A (see connection
diagrams with current
transformer).
Note: If a current transformer is used, the conductors must be fused with 63 mA quick-
acting fuses (see connection examples with current transformer)
