You can determine the process data length that is required for the IO-Link device
configuration.

➢ Navigate to the IO-Link port overview.
➢ Read the process data length of the current configuration.
− PD IN: Length of the input data in bytes

PD OUT: Length of the output data in bytes
13.4.6 Finding & rectifying parameter errors
Faulty parameterized IO-Link devices are indicated by a red frame around the IO-Link port
concerned.

➢ Open the detailed view of the IO-Link device.

➢ Click Scroll to error in order to jump to the next faulty parameter entry.
The faulty entry is indicated by a red frame. A note regarding error diagnosis is displayed.
