Special Access
Access card users from card ID 1 to 200 may inhibit Zones 1 to 200, e.g.
Presenting card 37 to any reader will inhibit Zone 37. Zone 37 will be
enabled the next time card 37 is presented to any reader.
Note: If the System is unset and a Zone is inhibited by using the Special
Access variable that the Zone will be re-enabled when the System is Set.
This should only be used to inhibit Zones on a System that is already set.
NO NO YES
BELL ON 1st
When this variable is set to YES, relevant external and internal Bell/Strobe
outputs will activate on an unconfirmed alarm. When set to NO, bells
will only activate on a confirmed alarm, or if the detector that caused the
unconfirmed alarm is reactivated. See the 3GS DD243 Application
Guide for more information on confirmed/unconfirmed alarms.
Note: The Bell on First variable is associated with DD243 and Confirma-
tion. It will not operate if neither of these are set, i.e. Bells will activate on
first activation if DD243 and Confirmation variables are set to NO,
regardless of Bell on 1st Setting.

Set to NO if System has more than one Area but there is no Common
Area. If set to NO the System will not display Common Area messages. If
set to YES, Common Area messages are displayed.
Note: If there are no Areas on the System and this variable is set to YES,
when the internal and external bells activate, the Common bell and
strobe outputs will also activate (outputs 143 and 249 respectively). Note
also that if the system is configured with multiple areas and this variable
is set to NO, selecting Full Set, or setting all Areas will instantly arm the
system, i.e. no exit timer will apply.

Keyarm Open
Only
When this variable is set to NO, opening a zone with the Keyarm
attribute will Set the System/Area, and the System/Area will Unset when
the zone closes. When set to YES, the status of the System will toggle only
when the Keyarm zone opens.
YES NO YES
Autoinhibit
When set to YES, the System will set, ignoring all open Zones/doors.
When the exit timer has expired and if an open Zone is then closed, it
again is made active.
Note: Applies to Full Setting System only.

Enable X-
Shunts
With the X-Shunt variable set to YES, a System Unset will enable all
shunted Zones. This means that if the zone with the shunt attribute is still
open, the next zone in line will be re-enabled after a system Unset. Set
this variable to NO to keep zone shunted after System Unset.
