Europlex Conformity
EN50131-3, 8.2.4.4 states that means will be provided to limit the exit/entry time to a maximum of 45
seconds.
The Exit/Entry timer onthe Europlex system can be set from 0-9999.In the case of a Class IV system,
this timer is defaulted, on manufacture, to 45 seconds. This timer is user adjustable but must not be set
to a time exceeding 45 seconds for Class IV systems. If this timer is set to exceed 45 seconds the system
is no longer Class IV compliant.
In the case of a sytem with multiple areas, then each exit entry time must be set to comply with Class IV
Rrequirements.
As this time is set on installation by an approved engineer,Europlex considers that the conditions of this
requirement are met.
