EN50131 -3 Paragraph 8.3.1 Grade 4 Page 26
Processing of Alarm and Tamper fault signals.
Intrusion alarm inputs shall be processed individually to generate one or more of intruder alarm conditions.
Alternatively, an alarm condition can be generated by a logical combination with one or more intrusion alarm signals
from the same input within a defined window.
Additionally, an alarm condition can be generated by the logical combination with one or more intrusion alarm from
other inputs logically grouped within a defined time window.
Europlex Conformity
EN50131-3,8.3.1 Table10 defines the priority levels for the signal processing (alarm, tamper signal or fault messages).
The Europlex system monitors and processes alarm inputs immeadiately. Due to this, the system does not prioritize
activations reported to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Europlex consider that prioritization, if required, is the
reponsibility of the ARC.
